SkyeCottage(South Cuidreach) is located overlooking Loch Snizort on the Trotternish penisula of North Skye. It is approximately 10 miles north of Portree and 4 miles south of Uig. This comfortable secluded seaside cottage has four Bedrooms: 2 double and 2 single. There is a fitted kitchen/dining room with all facilities including wachine machine. The sitting room has an open fire and a seaview. Logs are supplied and the cottage also has oil central heating. |

Our cottages are set above Loch Beag, in two to three acres of grounds. They are equipped to a very high standard with electric heating throughout and an open-hearth fire for those cosy evenings (coal provided). Each cottage has three compact bedrooms (one twin, one single and a double). kitchen/dining-room, bath, shower over bath. Equipment includes microwave, LCD T.V, DVD player, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, electric cooker, fridge and payphone. |
The Bothy is a modern,three-bedroomed, self-catering holiday cottage built in traditional Scottish style situated in an elevated position above the single-track Braes Road (B883), seven miles from Portree. The Old Mission Hall stands in an elevated position with spectacular views of Loch Bay and over the Minch to the Outer Isles. Recently renovated but with much of its original stonework maintained, it has been modernised to a high standard and comfortably furnished. Apart from a few steps to the car parking area, the accommodation is all on one level and comprises of two bedrooms, bathroom with electric shower, open plan kitchen and lounge/diner with an open peat fire. |
The four cottages, "Tigh Phadraig", "Tigh Màiri", “Tigh Lachie” and "Tigh Seonag", each offer luxurious accommodation including a traditional veiled boxed bed (better than any four poster!), under floor heated stone floors throughout (absolutely wonderful on bare feet!), and a stove sits in the large stone fire place, prefect for watching the flickering flames & sipping at a wee dram. A well equipped fully fitted kitchen is also installed, but if you don't fancy cooking there are many fine restaurants on Skye.
