Originally the hub of postal communication for the Isle of Skye and the outside world, the old Post Office has been converted into an independent hostel that now draws people from around the globe. Sleeping 60 in smaller rooms with up to four beds, and dormitories sleeping 6, 10 and 12 (all linen and bedding is included in the price) there is a spacious kitchen / common room where you can exchange yarns whilst admiring the breathtaking view from the windows, a large t.v. lounge and a well-equipped launderette on site. |

Dun Flodigarry is an independent, family-run hostel set in a magnificent location on the beautiful Trotternish Peninsula, the northernmost part of the Isle of Skye. The hostel is set by the sea and has wonderful views across to Flodigarry Island, Gairloch and the Torridon mountains on the mainland. Flodigarry was once the home of the Jacobite heroine Flora MacDonald, and the area is famous for the distinctive cliffs and rock formations of the Quiraing which towers above the hostel. |
